My work
For 28 years I have been honing my skills as a sculptor. Always striving for not only harmony in anatomical accuracy and movement in composition but also trying to portray the soul in each figure. To me, sculpture is so much more than capturing a likeness. Without capturing the soul, you're left with an insipid, lifeless decoration. These stories I tell deserve better than that.
My Medium
It's difficult to describe the feel of warm clay when I'm building a figure. It feels like it's already alive just waiting to be put where it goes. Nothing quite like it. Although some of these pictures are shown in the clay stage, they will all be cast in bronze.
